KEPLER 138
Made for Panasonic, Kepler-138 is a breathtaking sci-fi drama that transports audiences on a visually stunning journey. The story follows a young girl's extraordinary quest to the distant planet Kepler-138, where she discovers a profound and heartwarming way to connect with her blind father through innovative forms of communication.
The film's stunning visuals were brought to life through diverse and challenging locations. We traveled to Crescent City and filmed along the Northern California coast within the majestic Redwoods, capturing their ancient, otherworldly presence. Contrastingly, scenes were also shot in the unique, desolate landscapes of Swing Arm City in Southern Utah, adding to the vastness of the story.
Seamlessly blending the awe of space exploration with the deeply human themes of ambition, loss, and reconciliation, Kepler-138 captures the intimate struggles of a family. It leaves audiences with a poignant reminder: sometimes, to truly connect, we must be willing to let go.
